I'm Irma teixeira de Miranda, 30 years old, a young mestizo woman with many dreams and yearning to live, born and raised on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. I am Adequate in Tourism from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, being the first of the family to have a degree. Anti-racist activist, forged in the struggle of social movements, especially in the movement for rights.

Now that you know me, I need your help...
3 thousand euros separate me from a collective dream. I'm very close to finishing my master's degree at the University of Barcelona, an objective that is not just mine, but that of my family, an objective of the favela where I grew up, of my community. And that are part of a bigger dream, to produce knowledge so that more people who came from a similar origin to mine can also conquer the world. I believe that education should be accessible to all and I will fight for reality to change, but in the meantime, I ask for your help.
